Content policy

Last updated October 24, 2026

What may not be uploaded or shared on FyleUP, how we enforce it and how to report something. The short version: share only what you have the right to share, and nothing that hurts people.

Template text. A qualified lawyer must review this page, and fill in the highlighted details, before the service launches.

1.Who this applies to

This policy applies to every file, title, description, thumbnail and piece of branding on FyleUP, and to the way links are promoted. It is part of our terms of service. When something breaks it, we act on the content and, where needed, on the account.

2.Child sexual abuse material

Zero tolerance. Any material that sexualises or exploits minors, including drawings, computer-generated or AI-made images, is banned without exception.

We remove it immediately, close the account, block the file so it cannot be uploaded again, keep the records the law requires and report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to the relevant authorities. Reports of this kind take a link offline at once while we review them.

3.Intimate images shared without consent

Sexual or intimate images or videos of a person shared without their consent are banned, including hidden-camera recordings, leaked private material and fake or altered images that show a real person this way. If you are the person shown, report it and we will remove it; you do not need to prove who you are to the uploader.

4.Malware and harmful software

No viruses, spyware, ransomware, phishing kits, cracked apps carrying malicious code, or files disguised as something else, such as a program renamed to look like a video. Every upload is checked; harmful files are blocked and their accounts closed.

5.Piracy and copyright infringement

Only upload what you own or have permission to share. Films, series, live sports, music, software, games and books shared without the rights holder’s permission are not allowed. Copyright owners can use our DMCA process, and accounts that infringe repeatedly are closed.

6.Violent extremism

No content that promotes, supports or recruits for terrorist or violent extremist groups, celebrates attacks or their perpetrators, or shares instructions for violence. Documentary or news material may be removed when it is shared to glorify rather than inform.

7.Scams and fraud

No phishing pages, fake giveaways or prizes, investment or crypto schemes, fake documents or stolen account details, and no files or titles designed to trick people into paying, installing something or handing over information.

8.Other content that is not allowed

  • anything illegal where you or your viewers are, including illegal goods and services;
  • threats, harassment, and other people’s private information shared without their consent;
  • content that encourages self-harm or suicide;
  • titles, thumbnails or descriptions that mislead people about what a file contains.

9.Fake views

Views must come from real people choosing to watch. Bots, emulators, auto-refresh tricks, paid or exchanged views, rewards for opening links and views from your own devices are not paid. We filter them automatically, can reverse earnings that came from them, and close accounts that keep trying.

10.How we enforce this policy

Depending on how serious the problem is, we may:

  • remove a file or close its link, and block identical uploads;
  • withhold or reverse earnings connected to it;
  • limit, suspend or close the account;
  • report the content to the authorities where the law requires it or people are at risk.

If we act on your content, we tell you why where the law allows, and you can reply through support if you think we made a mistake.

11.Reporting content

Use the report form, which is linked from every file page, or email [email protected]. Include the link and what is wrong. For copyright claims, use the copyright form. If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.
